Effective November 2, 2026. Rollsby is made by Spark Labs Studios, a studio of Spark Labs LLC ("we", "us").
Rollsby is an online board game. This policy explains what we collect when you play it, why, and the choices you have. We
don't sell your personal information.
What we collect
Your game account. The first time you open Rollsby we create a guest account for you: a random player
number, a public player tag (like #K3X9P2Q) and a secret sign-in token that stays on your device (we store only a
scrambled copy of it). There's no email address or password.
What you choose to share. The display name you pick, your friends and friend requests.
Your game progress. Trophies, wins, matches played, your deck, the coins you have, the looks you own and
wear, and the moves made in online matches (needed to run the match fairly).
Purchases. When you buy something, Apple or Google handles the payment. We receive a transaction record
(which item, when, and a transaction ID) to deliver it and prevent fraud. We never see your card or bank details.
Technical information. Your IP address, the app version and the kind of device, which our server uses to
connect you, keep the game secure and stop abuse (for example, limiting how fast new accounts can be made).
Advertising (mobile apps). The apps show ads through Google AdMob. Google may collect your device's
advertising identifier (on iPhone and iPad, only if you allow tracking), your IP address and how you interact with
ads, to show and measure ads and, where you agree, to personalize them. See
how Google uses data from apps that use its services.
How we use it
To run the game: sign you in, save your progress, find you opponents, show leaderboards and your friends list.
To deliver purchases and rewards, and to restore them.
To keep the game fair and safe: detect cheating, fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms.
To fix problems and improve the game, using aggregate statistics.
What other players see
Your display name, player tag, trophies and the look your hero wears are visible to other players: on the leaderboard, in
matches, and to people who add you as a friend. Your friends can see whether you're online and what you're doing in the
game (for example, in a match).
Who we share it with
Our hosting provider, which runs our servers in Germany (European Union).
Apple and Google, to process purchases in their stores.
Google AdMob, for ads in the mobile apps, as described above.
Authorities, if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your account for as long as it exists. When you delete it, we remove your account, name, progress and friends
right away; copies in our backups disappear within 14 days. We keep anonymous purchase records (no longer linked to you)
for accounting and to prevent fraud. Server logs with IP addresses are kept for up to 30 days.
Your choices and rights
Delete your account at any time in the game: Settings, Account, Delete account (tap twice). You can also
ask us to delete it.
Ads: on iPhone and iPad, Rollsby asks before any tracking, and you can change your answer in your device's
settings. Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA and the UK), you can review your ad choices in Settings,
Account, Ad privacy choices. Buying No Ads turns off ads between matches.
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU and UK, or in California), you may have the right to
access, correct, delete or move your data, and to object to some uses. Write to us and we'll help.
Children
Rollsby isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you
believe a child under 13 has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update this page and its date, and tell you in the game when the change matters.
